Principal’s Report
This week will be a very busy one. I am off
to the New South Wales Primary Principal’s
annual conference in Dubbo on Thursday and
Friday. Mrs Shelton will be teaching the
class and learning will continue as normal.
Miss Weeks has begun teaching and the
students are enjoying her lessons.
Work Place Health and Safety
We are currently in the process of
identifying any health and safety risks that
are present in our school. While we have
done a checklist and have studied the
grounds as closely as we can, there may be
some things we have missed. If, while you
are at school, you notice anything of concern
could you please mention it to Miss Jones so
it can be fixed.
Cleaning out
We still have the following items for
purchase. If you would like any of these
things please see Mrs Coyle tomorrow.
Payments can be made by direct deposit or
by cash.

In the near future we will also be decluttering the other storage rooms within
the school. If you have items stored here
please let me know and arrange to pick them
up.
Homework
While it is not compulsory for students to
complete homework, it is highly
recommended. Students who complete
homework are reinforcing the topics,
reading strategies and mental mathematics
content that they are learning in the
classroom. Some homework tasks have
students undertaking research and
presenting information in a variety of ways.
Building these skills can only help them with
future learning,
