I am writing on behalf of Bowie-Austin FFA Alumni Association to ask for your support with our annual
Cowboy Casino Night and Auction on October 25, 2014. Would you please consider donating a gift
certificate for goods or services and/or merchandise for use in our auction?
The Bowie-Austin FFA Alumni Association is an affiliate chapter of both the National FFA Organization as
well as the Texas FFA Organization. We support the National FFA Organization and their dedication to
making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership,
personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
Our association supports the Bowie Agriculture students and FFA (Future Farmers of America) students
by raising funds to support our Agriculture Program as well as Bowie High students and students
throughout Travis County competing in the Travis County Youth Show. We provide yearly scholarships
to deserving students as well as support of our students competing in Career Development Events and
Leadership Development Events.

generous donations like yours, our Bowie-Austin FFA program could not exist.
We are a non-profit organization so your donation is tax-deductible and you will be provided with a
receipt for tax purposes.
Please consider this worthwhile cause and if you are interested in being one of our event sponsors or
have an in-kind donation for our auction please complete the attached Donation Pledge Form and
return it to us by October 15, 2014. Our team of dedicated parent volunteers will contact you upon
receipt to arrange a convenient time to pick up your donated items.
All sponsors will be acknowledged at the event, on our website, and throughout the remainder of the
school year at various Alumni events.
