This week:
Because of Parent-teacher conferences this week, students will be released from
school at 2:20 this Wednesday and Thursday. Students do not have school on
Friday, October 14.
The eighth grade will also be participating in a live video conference with Denver
Museum of Nature & Science archaeologists: Scientists in Action program, on Thursday
from 1-1:45. We have altered our schedule after lunch that day, to ensure we still have
equitable class times.
Parent-Teacher Conferences are this Wednesday and Thursday, October 12 & 13,
from 2:30-6:15. Please call Lisa Marshall in the front office (247-1418 x 2502), if
you would like to schedule a team conference with Mr. Lang and Ms. von Stroh.
This is the first week of the second Academic Support session, though students will only
have Academic Support on Monday and Tuesday this week. Also, Girls Basketball and
Boys Wrestling practice starts Wednesday, October 12, from 2:30-4:30.

CALLING ALL ENTRIES!
Rocky Mountain PBS welcomes all middle school students (Grades 6, 7 & 8) to
participate in StoryMakers, a short story contest for young adults. Entries must be
turned in to me by October 12th, for extra credit. I will mail them to PBS by October 14.
