SCHOLARSHIP AWARD RULES
Awarded to Oregon High School seniors for their use as fulltime students at any Oregon accredited
public, private college, university or trade school. Scholarship recipients must start attendance within 12
months of the award and show proof of enrollment for a minimum of 12 credit hours.
Essay subject is to be 1,000 to 1,500 words: Subject “Credit In The 21st Century”.
Entries must be typed, double spaced, able to be read in three to five minutes.
Each entry must include the applicant’s full name, address, telephone numbers, full name of his/her
parents; and the name and phone number of his/her high school. (Used for notification purposes only.)

Entries are the property of the Oregon Collectors Association Bob Hasson Memorial Scholarship Fund
and may be printed and published in full or in part at the discretion of the Fund.
The finalists will be selected by the Directors of the Scholarship Fund and notified of their selection.
All three finalists and their immediate families will be provided with a double-occupancy room during
the weekend of the Oregon Collectors Association Spring Convention, usually held the last part of April
on the Oregon coast. Finalists must read their essays to those attending the convention to win.
All graduating High School Seniors are eligible with exception of the children or grand children of
owners or officers of collection agencies in the State of Oregon.
