Wind Potential of Armenia: Selection of potential project areas based on the results of the wind

On the basis of the results of the wind potential study conducted by GEO-NET consulting
company (Germany) in Armenia in 2006, five potential projects were considered. As the most
promising site “Yerevan O” site was determined. Location of this site is between Charentsavan
and Hrazdan cities [for the map click here “Search area 2”]. It is planned to start monitoring
activities on this site in 2008.
