Student Travel Grants to Attend Graduate Symposium Joint With
2009 World Congress on Privacy, Security, Trust and the
Management of e-Business

The Graduate Symposium of the 2009 World Congress on Privacy, Security, Trust and
the Management of e-Business is pleased to introduce this funding program to support
graduate students attending the Symposium.
Eligibility
• Full time students must present the accepted paper at the Graduate Symposium
• Full time students must register for the Graduate Symposium before the deadline
• The dollar value of individual grants will vary depending on the pool of applicants
• Eligible costs include travel, accommodations and meals (only original receipts will be
accepted in order to process the grants). Symposium registration fee will not be
reimbursed.
• The funds will be allocated based on travel distance from the symposium location
Important Deadline
• Application deadline: Monday, June 22, 2009
• Notification deadline: Friday, June 26, 2009
How to Apply
Send an email to Dr. Wei Lu at wlu@unb.ca by the deadline Friday, June 22 2009 with
the following details
 full name, university and contact information
 name of supervisor
 title of accepted paper
 budget of estimated expenses (travel, lodging, food)
 the expenses that will be covered by supervisor, department, university or
equivalently the total amount of financial support provided by supervisor,
department or university
Claiming the Grant
As a condition of acceptance, financial grant recipients are required to submit an expense
report, with original receipts, by Oct. 1, 2009 to:
