Parent Saturday School Notice
Dear Parents,
In an effort to provide each student with the best possible education at
Woodlawn Magnet High School, students will be given the opportunity to
take advantage of every academic resource available to them. Students will
be allowed to attend Saturday School for tutoring or to make up missed
assignments. Tutoring will be available for Biology, ACT Prep, and
AHSGE (Seniors Only).
In order for students to be successful in Biology and other science
courses they must attend class on a regular basis. If students are absent, they
must attend Saturday school to make up assignments. I am available for
Saturday School most Saturdays and after school as needed (if scheduled in
advance). Saturday school will be held from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm every
Saturday unless it is canceled.
Please encourage your child to take advantage of this free tutoring or
this opportunity to make up missed assignments. Please allow this letter to
serve as notification of the service that is offered to ensure the success of
your child. Your signature below indicates that you are aware that tutoring is
available on Saturdays and that your child has an opportunity to make up
missed assignments during this same time period.
