Dear Hartford Alumni & Friends
The Class of 1961 would like to invite each and everyone that ever attended Hartford Consolidated Schools
to the 27th Annual School Reunion. The Alumni Dinner/Dance will be May 7 th, 2011 at Columbus Hall located
10203 Columbus Acres Dr. Fort Smith AR.
The Reception begins at 5:00 p.m. so you can view and bid on silent auction items. The silent auction has
some large items this year, so you may want to take that in to consideration. We will also have the slide
show presentation at this time.
Dinner begins at 6:00 pm. After dinner there will be a short program. Scholarship winners will be
introduced by Scholarship Administrator, Joe Sabatucci. He will also address the annual financial report.
Mrs. Teresa Ragsdale School Superintendent will give the State of the School Address. We will reopen the
silent auction as soon as the program is completed. The dance will begin at 8:00pm.
The Guest House Inn has agreed to hold several rooms at $62.00+ tax per night, and comes with a
complimentary deluxe breakfast. The address is 3600 Grinell, Fort Smith AR, and is located in close
proximity to Columbus Hall. Reservations may be made by calling (479) 646-5100. The cut-off date is April
22, 2011. Be sure and mention you are a HHS Alumnus.
The Hospitality room is located at the Guest House Inn. It will be open Thursday and Friday May 5 th and 6th
12:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. There will be a host/hostess available to answer any questions you may have. The
Class of 1961 has prepared a message board with items of interest and other events that are going on this
weekend. We recommend you come by and visit. Bring your scrapbooks and pictures etc. to share.
A breakfast will be available Saturday May 7th, from 8:30 am to 10:30 a.m. at the Hartford Senior Center.
The breakfast helps raise funds for the Center. The cost is $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. We will
have several items from the silent auction for you to bid on.
The Hills of Fame Songfest will be at Faith Chapel on Sunday, May 8 th, at 6:00 p.m. The concert is free but
donations are appreciated. Al Brumley Jr. will be the guest singer along with some very good local talent.
A new item that may be of interest is that we now have a link to the school website. Go to

Enclosed you will find the reservation form for the Dinner/Dance, and registration form for the Gary Walker
Memorial Golf tournament. We hope you will make plans to attend.
