HOMEWORK: Students will have homework on Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday. Please check and sign your child’s Homework
Sheet each night. Homework should take students approximately 30
minutes. Students are responsible for turning in their work each morning to
the designated basket.
1.
Reading: Raz Kids. Students should read one book each night,
Monday – Thursday, from the website and take the matching
comprehension test.
2. Math: Students will have assigned math facts to study for a
weekly test. In addition, they will also bring home a worksheet
each night to practice a new skill. Please let them do this
independently, as it helps us to know if they have mastered the
concept or need more time with it. Please return this daily.
3. Spelling : Students will have a spelling pattern with sample words
to study for an end of the week test. Make a list of as many
rhyming words or other words that fit the pattern. Please turn this
in on Friday morning.
4. Homework Sheet: Please sign this each night to confirm you have
seen their behavior and assignments.
HOMEWORK GRADING SCALE:
S = Satisfactory
0-5 Missing Assignments for the quarter.
N = Needs Improvement
6-10 Missing Assignments for the quarter.
U = Unacceptable
11 or more Missing Assignments for the quarter.
