TENNISLINK INSTRUCTIONS FOR
JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS
HOW TO BECOME A COACH OR CAPTAIN
1. Log onto http://teamtennis.usta.com
2. Click on BECOME A COACH/CAPTAIN located on the right side of your computer
screen
3. Fill in the necessary information and select a password
4. Click SUBMIT (Write down your number and password, you will need this to logon to
TennisLink)
4. You are done! Now you are an official Team Tennis coach/captain!
HOW TO REGISTER YOUR TEAM ON TENNISLINK
1. Log onto http://teamtennis.usta.com
2. Click on CLICK HERE located on the right side of your computer screen under the
heading Captains and Coordinators
3. Enter your USTA number or your Team Tennis number you created when you became
a coach/captain and enter your password and click LOGON
4. Next click on CREATE NEW TEAM located on the right side of your computer screen
under the heading My Options
5. Enter the necessary information Section (NORTHERN), District (NORTHERN), Area
(Greater Twin Cities) and click GO
6. Click JRS next to your program name (Contact Section Coordinator if unsure of your
program)
7. Enter the necessary information: Team Name (Please use your city name in the title
of your team name), write down your team number, select Site Facility (select the
closest site to you).
*If your name does not show up under coach/captain please enter your USTA
number or your team tennis number and click GET
8. Click SAVE located on the bottom of the screen you have completed the team
registration part. If you have multiple teams, you will have to repeat steps 4-8.

HOW TO REGISTER A PLAYER FOR A TEAM
1. Go to http://teamtennis.usta.com
2. Click on Register for a Team located on the right side of the screen under the heading
Join Team Tennis
3. You will need to know your Team Number and Player Number or USTA Number
4. If your player does not have a USTA number you will have to click Do Not Have a
Number? and you will be prompted to enter player information (Players first and last
name, address, date of birth, gender and ethnic group) Click SAVE and a pop up screen
will give you the players Team Tennis number WRITE THIS NUMBER DOWN
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 if you are entering multiple players
6. **NOTE: If you have a pop up blocker turned on you will have to turn it off to register
players…
7. Then you click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT
8. You will have to use a credit card to pay for the registration fee. In 2007 a nonmember will pay $7 and a member will pay $3.
9. Click Submit if you need a receipt print out the next page that comes up.
10.You are finished!

Go to http://teamtennis.usta.com
Log into the system as a coach/captain
Under My Options, Click on Score Entry
Enter the match number and click Next
Click Next if the information is correct
Enter the Date the match was played
Enter match results and click Next
Review the information and if it is correct click Finish
