Layers of the Atmosphere Project
You will be completing a project on the layers of the
atmosphere in groups of 4-5 students. Each group is
responsible for information on each of the 4 main layers.
You will be given points on the following things: (See Rubric)
1. Participation
2. Content
a. 5 characteristics about each layer
b. Completion of the Guide Sheet
3. Illustrations
4. Creativity
5. Presentation
Each person in the group is to help participate in creating
the project as well as presenting.
Your group may choose how they want to
represent/illustrate your project (example: poster, models,
drawings)
Every book and website that you use needs to be cited.
- If you are using a book you can list the title of the
book and the author.
- If using a website you can list the web address.
You will be given time in class to use library books as well as
the Internet to complete this project.
Presentation: You will be asked to give a 2-4 minute
presentation for your project.
