DIRECTOR OF LAND

Salary and Bonus Commensurate with Skills and Experience
Active energy company is seeking a Director of Land to join their team. This
person will have companywide responsibility for planning, directing and
supervising acquisition and divestiture of the company’s mineral interests, land
rights, lease maintenance, and contract negotiations. Candidate will oversee the
preparation and review of deeds, easements, and leases. Ensure compliance
with government agencies, landowners, and investors during all phases of
development.
Duties/Responsibilities:
 Organize and manage all aspects of the land effort.
 Supervise land personnel.
 Identify, capture, and negotiate new acquisition and leasing opportunities.
 Perform and/or coordinate due diligence efforts.
 Integrate acquired properties into the existing asset base.
 Target lease opportunities.
 Title and records management.
 Mineral lease management.
Requirements:
 Bachelors Degree required. JD with active law license to practice is highly
desired.
 CPL or RLP designation a plus.
 15+ years oil and gas land management experience.
 Solid experience with oil and gas contracts, negotiations, leasing and
regulations.
 Must have excellent computer skills. Advanced use of LandPro preferred.
 Excellent written, verbal and negotiation skills.
 Team player.
