Graduate Programs 2007
Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México
General Objectives
To perform high quality original research (pure and applied) and acquire skills for critically interpreting information
related with the specialty, according to the diverse fields it is to be found in; besides contributing to the advance of
science in the area chosen.
Specific Objectives
Non-linear Physics
To perform dynamic systems research in the non-linear aspect for the understanding of nature as a whole,
where its components are totally independent and cannot be isolated, as in the case of complex fluid dynamics
or chaotic systems.
Nuclear Science
To perform research of excellence, such as: generation of innovative analysis techniques for the solution of
environmental problems, multielemental quantitative determination, destruction of hazardous waste, studies of
geophysical phenomena and solution of archeological problems, amongst others.
