1. Career service office operations
a. Internship matching software part of larger software package for managing
other business processes (job matching, job fairs, employer recruitment, etc.)
b. Directors in part evaluated on
i. # of employers brought to campus
ii. # of new employers brought to campus
iii. # of internships
c. Internship partnerships cultivated & nurtured over time leads to
unwillingness to share with competing institutions
2. Regional and statewide systems seem to run parallel to career center systems, do
not replace them
