Course Description: This course is designed for the student who has completed Algebra II who needs more
preparation for Precalculus. Topics covered include sets, graphs, data, relations and functions, problem solving,
trigonometry, and trigonometry applications. This is a year long class.
Instructional Philosophy: Students are expected to comply with all district, building, and classroom
policies.

Policy for Re-Doing Work: Retakes for students scoring below 80% are available on most unit tests when a
teacher criterion has been met.
Opportunities for Extra Help: See teacher for extra help opportunities.
Grading Rubrics: Rubrics for Labs and Projects will be distributed when they are assigned. Each Lab or
Projects has a different effect on overall quarter grade, but the ratio of tests to classwork will stay the same.
