Cashton FFA Alumni Scholarship
The Cashton FFA Alumni scholarship will be awarded to any Cashton High School senior FFA members
or past graduates going on to school. The Cashton FFA Scholarship will range from $500 to any FFA
members attending an Agriculture Major or $200 to any FFA members attended post-secondary education
in any field. The total amount of scholarships awarded yearly will be up to $2500, with students pursuing
agricultural major receiving priority. Student course work can come from any of the following programs:
1). Four Month Short Course at UW-Madison
2). Any 1 or 2 year program at an accredited technical school.
3). Any 2,3, or 4 year program at an accredited college or university.
Priority will be given to those students most involved in agriculture as a FFA member and as an
agriculture student in high school.
It must be understood that the recipient of the scholarship will receive payment after successful
completion of the first grading period. This student must maintain a grade point average of 2.0 to be
eligible for this scholarship. If at the semester the student’s grades are below this level, they will lose
their eligibility for this scholarship. Also, if the student fails to complete their set education after
receiving the scholarship, the scholarship is then considered a loan, and the student will be expected to
repay the entire sum over a reasonable period to be determined by the FFA Alumni. To receive payment a
transcript of the first grading period must be submitted to the Cashton High School Agriculture Instructor.
