A Seminar Ministry of
CHRISTIAN
PSYCHOLOGICAL
RESOURCES
Dr. Don Ott
Christian Psychological
Resources
“Carry each others burdens, and in this way
you will fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians
6:2). On September 7, 1994, CHRISTIAN
PSYCHOLOGICAL RESOURCES was established
to provide a specialized “burden bearing”
ministry.
Dr. Don Ott
Don Ott was born November 21, 1951 to
Charles and Lorene Ott of Flippin, Arkansas.
He was baptized into Christ March 29, 1964 by
First Christian Church of Eureka Springs. He
married Johniece Neher on May 30, 1970. Don
and Johniece have two daughters and three sons,
between ages 19 and 35, and two grandchildren.
CPR is “cardiopulmonary resuscitation,” a life
saving technique. The CPR ministry exists to
provide life saving intervention for spiritual,
mental, emotional, and interpersonal needs
within the body of Christ! “Besides everything
else, I face daily the pressure of my concern
for all the churches. Who is weak, and I do
not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do
not inwardly burn?” (2 Corinthians 11:28-29).
Don was ordained by Flippin Christian Church
on November 17, 1968 and again to specialized
ministry by Albert Pike Christian Church of Fort
Smith on July 17, 1977. He served churches in
Arkansas, California, and Oklahoma. He has
conducted seminars in 13 states, and has made
14 mission trips to Russia, China, Cuba, Liberia,
India, Iraq, and Haiti.
He has practiced
psychology full-time for the past 21 years.
Comfort, support, healing, and restoration are
being brought to many broken hearts, homes,
and relationships through the various ministries
of CHRISTIAN PSYCHOLOGICAL RESOURCES:
CREDENTIALS AND MEMBERSHIPS
 Seminar Ministry
 CD/Cassette Ministry
 Counseling Ministry
 Counselor Training Ministry
Our seminar ministry offers illustrated
presentations of Scriptural and psychological
insight focused especially on character and
relationships.
Personal wholeness, marital
fulfillment, and parental effectiveness are
emphasized as worthy goals of Christian
discipleship. Our Lord said: “I have come that
they may have life, and have it to the full”
(John 10:10). CPR’s challenge to the church is:
“LET’S LEARN HOW TO LIVE!”

Practical and Financial
Considerations
Our seminars focus on LIFESTYLE Christianity:
Jesus Christ and Scripture Applied to Everyday
Life! “My way of life in Christ Jesus . . .
agrees with what I teach everywhere in every
church.” “Finally, brothers, we instructed you
HOW TO LIVE in order to please God, as in
fact you are living.”
(1 Corinthians 4:17b;
1 Thessalonians 4:1a).
Our presentations are ideal for a Bible School
class, morning or evening message, or for a
special seminar, revival, or retreat. Scripture
text, pictures, and graphics are projected with
PowerPoint onto a rear screen. We provide
the necessary equipment, and our only special
need is adequate control of the room lighting.
Each seminar presentation is 40-45 minutes in
length, and there are four or five in a series.
Some individual presentations can be adapted to
a 30-35 minute format to fit your scheduling
needs. Friday through Sunday, all day Saturday,
Sunday morning and evening, or Sunday
through Wednesday are all available options.
Our financial policy is flexible with no fixed
charge for seminars. Our goal is to make these
spiritual resources available to churches of all
sizes and trust the Lord to meet our needs! We
are happy to come on a freewill offering basis or
negotiate a fee based on travel distance, church
size, and days involved. Fees average $150 for
one presentation or $750 for a weekend series.
If CPR’s Seminar Ministry would benefit the
church you serve, please contact us for
