
Supervise admissions and auditions and supervise registrations for Graduate Programs
(Academic Performance) and Undergraduate Programs (B.A., B. Mus. Ed)

Recruitment: prepare letters and maintain contact with area schools, supervise, schedule and coordinate
faculty recruitment visits to area High School Music programs.

Fundraising: work with Director on various long range and short term fund raising projects. Manage
School of Music Funds including Funds for Scholarships and Awards.

Assign tasks to Music Office Staff and Work-Study students.

Coordinate and supervise piano technician, recording technician, and stage manager.

Coordinate Orchestra/Large Ensemble- order music, organize auditions, prepare printed program

Coordinate and supervise monthly staff meetings

Supervise and implement Chamber Music Live concert series

Coordinate all aspects of yearly productions with the Department of Drama, Theater and Dance

Implement and supervise the Professional Artists Services for students and alumni. This program is
designed to provide professional performance opportunities for ACSM musicians

Special Contracting: Arrange Payments to Vendors and for guest lectures, residencies, and Master Classes

Supervise the maintenance of School of Music Inventory of musical instruments. Arrange for repairs and
maintenance, keep the track of students who borrow school instruments

Coordinate Building Maintenance and security with Buildings and Grounds and coordinate with the
dormitory authority

Serves as a faculty member for the Student and Faculty Committee

Attend College and CUNY-wide recruitment events and present at off-campus outreach

Present ACSM for all professional conferences- NACAC, NYSSMA, MENC and Chamber Music America

Oversee all marketing aspects of ACSM by working closely with office of communications and design
services

Oversee the ACSM website content and make necessary changes and updates
