The Medical Laboratory Science Curriculum requires, in addition to the above courses, the completion of the twelve
month program in Medical Laboratory Science at one of the hospitals affiliated with the University of Indianapolis
(currently affiliated hospitals are IU Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana; Franciscan St. Francis Health,
Indianapolis, Indiana; Parkview Health, Fort Wayne, Indiana). Student must apply for admittance to one of the programs.
This clinical program replaces the final year of undergraduate academic work if a student has completed all Medical
Laboratory Science Prerequisites and all core courses for the College of Arts and Sciences, and at least 92 hours of
undergraduate course work counting toward a degree.
