Cornish Playhouse Arts Incubator: Class of 15/16

The Cornish Playhouse Arts Incubator is a residency program offering space at the Cornish Playhouse for
artists who will be exploring risk taking and collaboration with other art forms. During the residency, there
will be up to 2 compulsory showings to the public and an introductory/orientation day on October 7, 2015
from 5-8pm.The lead artist applicant must be a Washington state resident.

As places are limited we want to ensure that all applicants are able to attend the orientation dates.
I confirm that all artists involved in my proposed project will be able to attend the orientation on
October 7, from 5-8pm.
I understand that I will allow up to 2 public showings of our process during our residency.

What has been the life of this project so far? Arts Incubator is looking for projects in their early
stages of development. (100 words)
I, the undersigned, understand that if selected to be a part of the Arts Incubator Class of 15/16 I am
responsible for: paying any associated labor fees as needed to comply with the Playhouse/IATSE contract,
attending an orientation day on October 7, 2015 from 5-8pm, supplying a certificate of liability insurance for
$1 million for my stay in the Playhouse, using the equipment available for me by the Playhouse and that
any additional equipment required will need to be acquired by me and approved by the Playhouse
Technical Supervisor, signing and abiding by the Playhouse’s Safety Manual, and allowing up to 2 public
sharing of our process to a public audience during the residency.
