STATE OF THE ART SURGERY ARRIVES AT COTTAGE HOSPITAL
WOODSVILLE, NH – AUGUST 5, 2008 – Cottage Hospital is proud to announce
the arrival and immediate use of the GE Healthcare OEC 9900 Elite C-arm,
GE’s flagship product in its surgical C-arm family.
For over three decades GE OEC has been a market leader in mobile C-arm
surgical imaging. The 9900 Elite’s state of the art imaging capabilities allow for
superb images during surgery the first time, with radiation dose control
dependability and versatility. Cottage Hospital clinicians and surgeons will be
able to utilize the 9900’s functionality to provide excellent patient care. The
LowDose setting reduces dose by more than 50% from the standard setting,
while in continuous fluoroscopy mode.

excellent imaging and dose reduction features on this C-arm, we don’t have to
pass that concern on to our patients.”

engineering hours invested over an 18-month period, the 9900 is the most
reliable OEC mobile C-arm ever produced. Along with the OEC 9900 Elite
comes a support team of more than 70 Clinical experts and a Service team of
200 engineers that live and work in cities across the country, supporting only
OEC systems. The GE Healthcare team helps ensure the system will perform
