Course Description:
This course is designed to improve the understanding and proficiencies of anesthesia support
staff in: basic and advanced technical skills commonly used in anesthesia.

Course Requirements (Expectations of Students)
Participation in all assigned activities, assignments/quizzes/exams turned in on time, weekly
contact with the instructor. Students will be expected to demonstrate the ability to perform
specific competencies listed under “Course Outcomes/Learning Objectives.” The minimum
passing grade for this course is 2.5.
Methods of Assessment/Evaluation:
