19 Teams in 9 Sports Serving 241 Students
Season Highlights
Varsity Football Team
Went 5-5 overall. 4 Seasons in a row of a .500 record or better. 12th in Harbin points (Highest
Finish School History). Won “Sledge Hammer of Service” Trophy 2nd year in a row
defeating Gamble Montessori 33-6 in the Montessori Bowl. Beat Summit 26-24. Set or tied
7 individual/team records.
Junior High Football Team
5-2 overall record, 4-2 MVC. Beat CCS 44-0, CHCA 44-12, CCD 20-0, Day. Christian 50-0.
Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team
7-7-2 overall. Won 4 non-league games. Started the season 6-1-2.
Dramatic 1st Round Sectional Game vs. Bethel-Tate.
Girls’ Varsity Soccer Team
6-9-3 overall. Won 4 non-league games & outscored opponents in those games 23-4. 4
shutouts overall on the season. Upset #7 Seed Deer Park 4-3 on their home field.
Soccer Programs hosted Annual Jenna Laumer Memorial Alumni Soccer Game in August.
Girls’ JV Soccer Team
3-0 overall. Shutout all three opponents.
Boys’ Junior High Soccer Team
Won 4 games and tied 3 others. Small numbers but mighty. Played many games with 11-12
players total. Beat league opponent, Cincinnati Christian, twice.
Girls’ Junior High Soccer Team
Won 3 games. Lost 8 games by 1 or 2 goals. Beat Summit 5-1 for their 1st win. Participated
in the 7 Hills Post-Season Tournament. Took a team outing to a UC Women’s Soccer Game.
Varsity Volleyball Team
Won 6 games overall, 4 non-league wins. Went 5-3 over a stretch in the middle of the season.
Hosted Mary Jo Braunm Memorial Volleyball Tournament on 9/19 @ Clark and won the
Tournament Championship. Participated in “Volleyball for a Cure” Game vs. Hughes.
Junior High “A” & “B” Volleyball Teams
2nd straight year with 2 JH Volleyball team. Provided opportunity for more girls to play
volleyball. “A” Team went 11-8 overall. Started the season on fire going 7-3.
Boys’ & Girls’ High School Cross Country Team
Hosted 3rd Annual Clark Cougars XC Team Challenge Race @ Withrow. Boys/Girls Team
were combined Runner Up. Team traveled to complete in the Tiffin Carnival Invite. Boys
were MVC Champions for the 1st Time in School History. HS Boys qualified as a team for
Regionals, girls had one individual runner for 2nd year in a row. State Qualifier for 1st Time in
School History. Overall, 12 Top-10 times were broken & both 5K school records.
Boys’ & Girls’ Junior High Cross Country Team
Team had a strong performance at the MVC XC Championships. Boys won the League
Championship, Girls were 3rd in MVC. Four boys & three girls runners were top 10 at MVC.
Team combined to win the Norwood Invitational. Boys Team was Runner Up at the Junior
High Championships @ Colerain HS. Boys JH School 2 mile record was set.
Girls’ Junior High Tennis Team
1st Program in School History. 5 young ladies improved everyday. Tied CCD 2-2 in last
match of the season.
