Friday, Oct. 2nd, is a School
Improvement Day. There will only
be a half day of school. Dismissal
times are: KG – 2nd: 12:15 pm; 3rd –
5th: 12:20 pm; 6th – 8th: 12:25 pm.
Buses will run at 12:30.
Fire Prevention Week is the week
of October 5th – 9th. Students in
Grades Pre-K – 3 will walk over to
the fire station for a tour.
The AR Store will be held during
the week of Oct. 12th. Students will
need 5 points to shop.
Friday, October 9th, there will be a
Teachers’ Institute. There will be
No School for students.
There will be NO SCHOOL on
Monday, Oct. 12th – Columbus Day.
Friday, October 16th is Early
Dismissal (end of the first nine
weeks). Dismissal times: KG – 2nd
1:45 pm; 3rd – 5th 1:50 pm; 6th – 8th
1:55 pm. Buses will run at 2:00 pm.

Jr. High parents may come anytime
during the above listed hours.
Wed., Oct. 28th, PTA Meeting will
be held at 6:30 pm in the JH
computer lab. (please note time
change)
There will be NO SCHOOL on
Friday, October 23rd.
Lunch Money. For parents who pay
by the month, lunch amount due for
October is $ 47.50.
For parents/guardians of students
who need to carry asthma
medication or an EpiPen, medical
authorization is required from the
students’ prescribing physican and
parent/guardian must sign a form.
Please let the office know if your
student has an EpiPen or asthma
medication he/she must carry.
Red Ribbon Week will be held Oct.
19-23. The Student Council will
plan activities for this week.
Book Fair will be held October
20- 26. Students will attend the fair
during their regular library time.
This year the Book Fair will be open
on Wed., Oct. 21st and Thurs., Oct.
22nd during Parent-Teacher
Conferences from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to shop at that
time.
Monday, October 26, there will be a
Public Health flu vaccine clinic at
the school library from 2 – 6 pm.
Members of the community are
invited to attend. The cost is $30 per
vaccine. Vaccine is covered through
Medicare Part B and Medicaid.
Please bring your card. A receipt
will be given for insurance
purposes.
REPORT CARDS will be issued on
Tuesday, October 20th.
