American Red Cross – The Heart of Texas American Red Cross needs
volunteers to assist will computer support, counseling, data entry, driving, event
coordination, filing, fund raising, photography, and teaching. For more

Waco Advocacy Center – The Advocacy Center is looking for Crisis
Intervention Advocates. Volunteers carry a cell phone to answer a 24/7 crisis
hotline and go to Waco hospitals to provide support for sexual assault survivors.

AVANCE Waco - The AVANCE Parent-Child Education Program focuses on
parent education, early childhood development, brain development, literacy, and
school readiness. The program serves predominantly poor Latino families in
underserved communities. AVANCE's mission is "Unlocking America's Potential"
and the program accomplishes this one child, one family, one community at a
time by teaching parents to be advocates and role models for their children.
Volunteers are need in a variety of areas including: reading to children, cleaning,
wrapping gifts, serving food during special events, data entry, clerical support,

Greenview Manor – Greenview Manor nursing home has a variety of ways that
students can volunteer including: group activities, one-on-one visits, music

Mission Waco – Mission Waco is looking for Baylor students to serve as
volunteers in the areas of: after school tutoring, tutoring at West Ave.

McLennan County Library – The library is looking for two students who would
be willing to volunteer for their tutoring program once a week. They need to have
basic strengths in math, science, reading and English and work well with children

Lakewood Villa Apartments - Need for volunteers to mentor/tutor kids living in
Lakewood Villa Apartments. The apartment complex offers an after school
program to help address the needs of the low income families living there. The
