Eulogy for Karl David Yeomans

Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child is loving and giving
Today is not only about loss, it is about courage and endurance, and love and
friendship and humour, and the survival of a sense of self worth in the face of
dreadful odds.
The odds were against Karl's survival from his illness despite his doctors' best
efforts and our best hopes.
He faced his illness with courage - a courage that came from within, from
Jules his wife, and Marlow his son, and from you his family, and you his
friends.
Karl was born on a Friday and he died on a Friday - Friday's child is loving
and giving - Karl was truly Friday's child - our child.
