Cell Membrane
The cell membrane is the structure of the cell.
• Just like the walls of a grocery store.
Cytoplasm
• The cytoplasm is the place where all the
organelles are kept.
• Just like the air in a grocery store
Lysosomes
• The lysosomes are what clean up and recycle
what it does not need.
• Just like the janitor in a grocery store.
Mitochondria
• The mitochondria is what produces the energy
for the cell
• Just like the sun/sprayer that gives them
energy.
Ribosomes
• The ribosomes are what make the proteins
for the cell .
• Just like the fertilizer that is given to the food
or plants in a grocery store.
Endoplasmic reticulum
• The endoplasmic reticulum is like a highway
for all the cells reactions .
• Just like a conveyor belt in a grocery store.
Golgi bodies
• The Golgi bodies are what pack and carry
proteins.
• Just like the employees in a grocery store.
Nuclear membrane
• The nuclear membrane is what protects the
cell.
• Just like an egg shell of an egg.
Nucleus
• The nucleus is the control plant and controls
everything in the cell.
• Just like a circular egg yolk.
Chromosomes
• They are the DNA of the cell.
• Just like the net bags that carry the fruit in a
grocery store
