including M1, M2/M3, Instruments)
2011 June: Submission of Construction Budget plan from
FY2012 to 2020 (TBD: ~$350M including 1st & 2nd instruments)
Call for Proposal of TMT-J Instruments on June 2008
 Four Instruments were selected and have been studied

Summary
Various activities to make a concrete business plan
including the telescope optics (M1/M2/M3), instruments, etc.
Four 2nd generation instruments have been proposed.
We would like to submit the Construction Budget plan from
FY2012 to 2020 (TBD: ~$350M) on June 2011
→ Need agreements and negotiation with TMT & partners
Activate TMT science symposium and science cases
→ Invitation of TMT SAC & partner members for such
meetings in Japan
