TA for Sustainable Bridge
Maintenance and Management
Project Period: Aug 2013 – Sep 2015
Project Purpose:
Ministry of roads, transportation's and municipality of
UB's capacity for planning skills of bridge maintenance is
improved.
Targeted Outputs:
1) Concept of "Bridge management cycle" is widely
understood, and guidelines and/or manuals are
developed.
2) Database system to record information of bridges is
developed in nation-wide and UB.
3) National policy on bridge maintenance and
management are developed.
4) Staff members related to bridge / structure
maintenance and management in MRT and MUB are
trained, and trainings are conducted by Mongolian side.

Urban Development Master Plan
• Urban development master plan is one of JICA’s technical
cooperation activities which support 1)analysis of
urbanization trend, 2)planning concepts, 3)development land
use, and 4)formulation of prior project plan.
