We pay the customer for reasonable medical expenses incurred for treatments during the trip
Benefit 2: Dental Treatment
Medical Expenses are reimbursed incurred by the customer in connection with treatment for any Injury
or Illness to his/her natural tooth or teeth during the Trip
Benefit 3: Daily Allowance In Case Of Hospitalisation
The customer will be paid a daily compensation in case hospitalization is for a period of more than 2
consecutive days.
Benefit 4 : Personal Accident
We compensate in case of death or total or partial permanent disability arising any time during the
Period of Insurance.
Coverage In Detail
Sub-Limit A
For policies with medical expenses sum insured over US$ 100,000,the limit of liability
of the company will be restricted to US$ 100,000 per sickness, disease or accident
sustained or contracted within the period of insurance whilst on the trip abroad, that
may lead to one or more medical expenses and/or hospitalization expenses
Sub-Limit B
For person aged 51 years and above, the maximum eligible medical expense per
sickness, disease or accident contracted within the period of insurance whilst on the
trip abroad, that may lead to one or more medical expenses, are as follows:
 Hospital room, board and hospital miscellaneous expenses - US$ 1,800 per day
up to 30 days.
 ICU - Max. US$ 3,250 per day up to seven days
 Surgical treatment - Max. up to US$ 15,000
 Anesthetist services - Up to 25% of surgical treatment
 Physician’s visit - Max. US$ 100 per day up to 10 visits
 Diagnostic and pre-admission testing - Max. US$ 1000
 Ambulance services - Max. up to US$ 500
 Misc expenses – Max of US $ 2000

We pay a fixed sum in case the customer encounters a delay in receipt of

/her checked in baggage beyond the specified period

It covers expenses incurred in obtaining duplicate passport

Any financial loss incurred by the insured out of the cancellation of the
trip
arising out of earthquake,storm,flood terrorism and other mentioned

death of immediate family member,etc will be indemnified

In case of failure of the insured to access the connecting flight, arising out
of
and consequent upon delayed arrival of the earlier flight, the company will

a fixed amount.

Compensation will be given for loss of checked in baggage occurring
anytime
after the delivery of the baggage taken from common carrier (including

he is travelling in the rented vehicle)

Benefit 1 : Accidental Death
We pay the nominee or legal heir of the customer an amount of $5000 in case
the customer meets with death arising out of and consequent upon an Injury
encountered during the Period of Insurance.
Benefit 2 : Personal Liability
This cover indemnifies the insured against any bodily injury or property
damage to third parties on account of an accident occurring whilst on a trip
Benefit 3 : Emergency Cash Advance
We will provide an assistance service in case of emergency cash requirement,
the assistance service provider co-ordinates with the insured person’s relative
back in country to provide emergency cash assistance
Benefit 4 : Bounced Booking Of Airlines and Hotel
Customer will be reimbursed the actual additional expenses incurred for
alternative flight arrangements or for alternative accommodation in case of
bouncing of confirmed accommodation booking or at sole instance of the
common carrier

If the departure of the Insured is delayed at the place of origin or at any intermediate port
due to earthquake, flood & terrorism the additional expenses for lodging & boarding is paid.
Benefit 6 – Return of Minor Child / Children
In an unfortunate event of the death of the insured while abroad, the cost of the economy
class air ticket will be reimbursed for sending the unattended minor children.
Benefit 7 - Compassionate Visit
We will render special assistance services to the insured during the Period of
hospitalization by any person of the family or relatives
Benefit 8: Hijack Distress Compensation
Compensation at the rate per day will be payable incase the common carrier in which the
insured is travelling as a passenger is held as captive by the hijackers
Benefit 9 : Political Risk and Catastrophe Evacuation Expenses
If any kind of catastrophe (fire, flood, earthquake, storm, lightning, explosion, hurricane or
epidemic due to contagious disease) occurs in the country which requires immediate
evacuation, we will incur the cost of economy class air ticket to country of residence of
nearest place of safety

1. Where can I find out more about the policy coverages?
Please refer to the policy wordings for complete coverage details.
2. Can more than ONE policy be issued for the same trip?
Each individual is to be insured by not more than one policy during their journey.
3. Are 'business travelers' eligible to purchase a Travel Insurance policy?
Yes. Our travel insurance is designed for both leisure and business travelers. Business
travelers who visit abroad frequently can be pitched with Multi trip plans.
4. When does cover begin and end?
You are covered from the date of your trip start date. These will be confirmed on your policy
schedule once the policy is purchased.
5. Is there any exclusion to the policy?
Yes. Some exclusions and conditions are specific to individual sections and General
exclusions and conditions apply to the policy overall. Please read the policy
wording carefully to ensure you have the cover you need.
6. What is the maximum trip length?
International travel cover can be purchased for trips up to 180 days, extended for another
360 days depending on the claim status.
