1. Register your personal details
Specify which areas you want to search in and enter your contact details. Make sure
to write a personal presentation. Our landlords are keen to know as much as possible
about their potential tenants. It’s even better if you can upload a picture of yourself
and include some good references from your earlier landlords.
2. Specify your needs
Specify the type of property you are looking for, leasing period, size, area and
maximum rent. You can also choose whether or not to receive an automatic e-mail
when we receive a property that matches your needs. You can also order our
mobile text service.
Your log in details (Customer ID and password) will be e-mailed to the address you
entered.
3. Pay
Once we have received your payment your account activates, your advert is published

Some tips
There’s a lot to think about when looking for a
new home. Here are some tips from us on how
to succeed with the search:
• Write a clear and personal presentation of
yourself in your advert. Describe your
situation and your strengths. Attaching a
picture to the advert is a huge plus. Use a
spell checking tool and proofread what you
write.
• Search actively! Monitor new adverts that are
published and quickly contact the landlord
when something that piques your interest
appears.
• Be prepared before you arrive at a viewing.
Make sure to obtain answers to the questions
you might have and to give the landlord a
positive image of yourself.
• One of the main concerns of a landlord is
usually that you have a stable economy and
good references. Some might consider a
tenant that is receiving welfare benefits while
others do not want to sublet to university
students. Good references from earlier
landlords will always be a great help to you.
• Some landlords want a deposit. It could be
one, two or several monthly rents. The
deposit is a security buffer for the landlord in
case there is any damage to the property
during the lease. Never pay a deposit or
advance rent until you have seen the
property, met the landlord and have a signed
contract!
