EZ-3 ECG

ECG. Like other EZ-3 users, we are confident you
will enjoy this model ideal for obtaining sharp
tracings and accurate reports quickly and easily.
EZ-3 features:

This Power Point presentation will show you some of
EZ-3’s features and give you an idea of how the
electrocardiograph works.
Each screen of this presentation will display for about
5 seconds, then automatically advance.
To return to a previous screen, use the left arrow on
your keyboard. To move ahead, use the right arrow.
EZ-3 is a easy to use 12 lead ECG.
For about the price of a single channel ECG,
EZ-3 gives you pre-formatted 3 channel
reports.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR
LOADING PAPER
INTO THE EZ-3
• Drop a pack of z-fold paper in EZ-3’s
paper tray.
• Pull a couple of sheets out of the tray
and close the cover.
Paper is now loaded and EZ-3 is ready to use.
CONNECTING
THE
ELECTRODES:
• Plug the 10 lead patient cable into the
port on the right hand side of EZ-3
(marked EKG/ECG).
• Connect each lead wire to
an alligator clip
adapter.
• Place the tab
electrodes inside
the “teeth” of the
alligator clips
EZ-3 can also be used with permanent electrodes.
Prep patient’s skin and
attach the extremity
(limb) electrodes to a
patient’s arms and legs.
The six pre-cordial
electrodes are placed on
the patient’s chest. Make
sure the skin is cleaned
prior to lead placement.
OPERATION OF
EZ-3
In Automatic Mode, EZ-3 will print 12 simultaneous
leads in 3 channel format
To start recording
and printing of
EKG, press AUTO.
The “MANUAL” key
lets you print
continuously.
Use the UP and DOWN arrows to
change the 3 channels being
displayed
To stop continuous
printing, press the
“STOP” key.
You can set EZ-3 up for your own specific
needs (long or short reports, averages, table of
measurements, etc.)
Programming is as simple as pressing “SHIFT”,
a 3 or 4 digit code and “STOP”.
For example, you can program EZ-3 to print
average leads in a 4 x 3 format. To set EZ-3 up to
do this press SHIFT, 1, 2, 6, STOP

EZ-3’s other buttons let you adjust the speed and amplitude
of tracings as you need.

height (amplitude)
These buttons
adjust paper speed.
The “COPY” key lets
you print multiple
copies of the same
report.
EZ-3 has several filters to
eliminate AC, baseline
and muscle noise.
The result is a clean, crisp, preformatted and easy to read
report.
Although it is
compact and portable,
EZ-3 can be provided
with a variety of cart
options.
