Necessity of The Project
This route Carries Heavy Mining and
Industrial Traffic. A large number of lime, cement
and chemical Industries nearly more than 100 are
situated on this road. Besides this a large number
lime stone
quarries are also situated in the
surroundings of this Road.
The road caters for raw and finished lime
product transportation. The area is agriculturally
rich and improvement of this road will reduce the
operation and maintenance cost of vehicles plying
over this road.

 Development of the road as two laning with paved
shoulder or earthen shoulder.
 Determining technical feasibility & financial
viability.
 Development & Construction of project highway
with project facilities, enhanced safety & Level of
services.
 To ensure minimum adverse impact on local
population, road users & environment .
 Phased development of project
highway for
improving its financial viability with minimum
inconvenience to traffic if additional work are
undertaken within 7 years.

• Project Road is Road from Gotan to Sojat Via
Pundlu – Borunda
• Project Road is having total length of 93 Kms.
• Project Road length is 23 KM in district Nagour.
• Project Road length is 58 KM in district Jodhpur &
12 KM in Pali

 Predominant land use is agriculture.
 Structures are generally in good condition.
 Minor bridges and pipe culverts shall have to be reconstructed /

 Flush Causeways will be replaced by Culverts.

 Construction of CC road in Borunda mining area and other water logged
village portions.
