Why is EPR2020 Important to Johns Hopkins?
• EPR is old, difficult to extend, and retiring by Dec 2010
• Improve Patient Care – aggregate data from more
sources
• Increasing demand for ability for researchers to query
• Future possibilities – e.g. integration with HealthVault

Real-time data feeds for new data (currently JHH)
Backload of existing data
4 million patients
17 million visits
8.5 million radiology reports
10 million EPR documents
1.6 million outpatient medications from EPR
1.2 million problem entries from EPR
400K immunizations from EPR
259 million lab results - (lab backload under development)

EPR2020 Customer Base


EPR2020 is currently deployed to 95% of public
workstations at Johns Hopkins Hospital as well as select
private workstations
The deployment is limited to a select group of early
adopters (~ 40 users)

• Significant experience using Microsoft Project

• Demonstrated ability to understand, document, and facilitate resolution of issues.

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain standards.
