 It is the nationally recognized body in UAE for issuing National Standards
 The standardization work is conducted by technical committees which can obtain assistance from
groups of experts

Summary
 ESMA manages the ECAS Program autonomously
 No appointed inspection companies required to issue the CoC
 If the exporting product is not listed in the ECAS Program nor in
any other local authority, the shipment does not require any
Conformity Assessment
 Each Emirate has its own local authorities with applicable
regulations
