submitting, it is obvious the Spirit is key

– We meet the Spirit in genuine salvation
(John 3:1-8)

– It is a command
• The Spirit has come to teach us and give power to live
(John 14:17, 26; 16:14)
• To be filled (Passive Voice)—we turn from what is
displeasing and we become completely open to what

– The work of the Spirit is always tied to His Word
(Col. 3:16)
– This “filling” becomes a day by day, hour by hour,
minute by minute decision
