Technology and experience
for the mechanical industry.
Lugli Amedeo Precision Mechanics business was established in 1979 in a small workshop.
Today it employs 25 workers on three shifts in a plant comprising multiple departments,
with an overall surface of 1,800 sq. m.
Production is organised in the following departments: milling, turning, grinding, 3D quality
control and testing. In addition, the company also provides in a dedicated structure a
functional unit assembly service with the integration of third-party components.
Thanks to its cutting-edge equipment, efficient organisation and the high level of
specialisation of its workers and technical personnel, the company obtained the UNI EN
ISO 9001:2008 certification and was able to establish itself as a leader in the production of
integrated components for the most complex industrial productions.

Lugli Amedeo Precision Mechanics is a
partner of the “Torino Piemonte Aerospace”
and “Manunet” projects. The latter is
aimed at developing and implementing
a new high-tech spindle for tapping. The
company also participates in integrated
projects at sector level, with a strong
focus on foreign markets, in the following
sectors: aeronautics space and defence,
industrial plant design and automation,
railway, nautical and textile mechanical.

The milling department features five work areas: four horizontal milling centres for
milling on three sides with extremely narrow geometrical and dimensional tolerances,
and a vertical milling centre equipped with a Nikken indexing head, capable of handling

Finishing
The company also owns sandblasting and tumble finishing
machines for in-house finishing of components, thread-rolling
and electrical discharge machining.
Grinding and
3D Quality Control
Compliance with pre-established quality standards is checked
during the production process as well as at the end of it.
Each work station is equipped with dimensional control
systems and every department has a micrometer. The final
inspection is carried out in the metrology room, where the
geometrical and dimensional correspondence between
the finished products and the relevant specifications is
checked with DEA three-dimensional measuring equipment.
Grinding is available for internal, external and plain surfaces.
Centerless and threading grinding are also available.
Assembly
The company provides a functional unit assembly service,
integrating components from several machining processes (not
limited to turning and milling) and providing its customers with
complete products. This one-stop solution means customers
can entrust a single supplier with all phases of the machining
and production process: manufacturing, assembly, packaging,
logistics and shipment.
