JETRO’s role in DMIC
On December 28th 2009, DMICDC and JETRO signed the MOU
DMICDC and JETRO will cooperate with each other to:
find appropriate business partners, in eco-related sector, through its various
platforms like business seminars, exhibitions etc.
Interact with the respective State Government/Agencies to promote and
provide consultation on DMIC projects including the proposed “Smart
Community” in their respective regions.
Set up a committee to study the various requirements of the proposed
“Smart Community” at selected locations in DMIC region and showcase
model “Smart Community” in cooperation with related State Government,
JBIC, JICA, NEXI and NEDO.
Participate actively in DMIC projects as a supporting agency and send a
representative to the board of DMICDC as a special invitee.

Japan visited India, India and Japan agreed that both countries will promote
