Alacrity is a private, Australian based company that focuses on providing
mobile phone communication using data to provide true ‘intelligent
interactivity’
• We are a private company that holds patents for the CLEW
technology is some 37+ countries including China, India etc
• In operation since 2000,
• Specialising in time critical delivery of real time information and
allowing for the data flow to be disseminated directly to command
and control (and similar) systems, all through mobile phones,
• Notifications to the public to allow decisions to be made on a
fully informed basis.

Closed Loop Environment for Wireless (CLEW) is an communications
platform that allows for interaction with the community and also with
dedicated, identified staff members and volunteers via mobile phones.
• CLEW is carrier, network and device agnostic,
• Users are not required to download an ‘app’ to their phone,
• The process and information flow is fully encrypted and fully auditable,
• CLEW is revolutionary in specific information and data flow,
• Can be integrated into any other system, such as HR, Command and
Control, Emergency Services Management, dispatch, delivery etc
•Can cut response time down to minutes rather than hours,

•CLEW works natively on the mobile phone browser. No
download required.
•Works on any phone that has an internet browser. Any
telephone company, any network type and all manufacturers.
•Allows detailed information to be communicated. Messages in
excess of 5,000 characters supported.
•Google map support allows detailed maps to included in any
message.
•The beauty of this system is that it is simple to use with no
establishment effort from the end user.

Current
Projects
Alacrity has a number of projects underway that can be discussed in
general terms and in proof of concept or development stage. These
projects include;
• Delivery of ‘virtual’ gift and debit cards with full PCI CSS compliance,
• Full point of sale and order fulfillment system across mobile phones, the first
globally without applications resident on the mobile phone, including the ability
to release distressed stock in a timely manner resulting in savings of millions of
dollars,
• Management of information to and from the public and critical staff for one of
Australia’s biggest utilities companies,
• A full and detailed information service to communities and individuals for
emergency situations regardless of the recipients location,
• Cardholder not Present and identity theft management products.

• Impossible not to have processes and procedures,
•Accountants and Lawyers,
•Separate IP from operational companies,
•Don’t assume you know the clients ‘pain point’,
•Funding and Financing,
•Generic demonstrations,
•Cloud computing vs. applications on devices,
•Benefits of private vs. VC capital,
•Value of committed investors,
•No greed,
•Negotiation pain, who are you going to hurt?
•Staff and their morale, teamwork.
