– course work of each level from level 5 to level 7
at each level of B. Voc. consists of 5 papers of
theory with 5 corresponding skill/hands on
practice/Laboratory work/project work.
– The vocational/skill content and general/theory
content in each level per year may vary from
1000 hours to 1100 hours per year as specified in
the UGC document

• Workshop on SPOKEN TUTORIALS in collaboration with IIT
Mumbai
• Workshop on High Computing Facility through GARUDANKN in collaboration with CDAC, Bangalore
• Two days Workshop on Ethical Hacking
• AIU Workshop organized by UIIT in collaboration with
Dean, Planning & teachers Matter
– Efforts on to sign an MOU with National Institute of
Electronics and Information Technology (NEILIT), a
Govt of India organization for HIGH END SKILL BASED
Tailor Made Programmes for the students of B. Tech.
and MCA
INITIATIVES UNDERTAKEN
• At Faculty of Performing & Visual Arts:
– Syllabi approved for B. Voc. (Theatre) and B. Voc.
(Western Dance) by the Board of Studies
– Ready to implement the course from session
2015-16

• At Faculty of Commerce & Management:
– Formation of Work Groups for starting the
following B. Voc. Course:
• Tourism and Service Industry
• Retail Marketing
– Syllabi approved by Board of Studies
– Ready to be implemented the course from
session 2015-16
– Colleges across the state to be encouraged to
start the courses from session 2015-16
