Overview
Aim - To develop strategic and mutually beneficial R&I
partnerships in ICT between the EU and the EECA
countries.
Objective - To strengthen the links and boost
cooperation among the research and industrial
communities of both regions to exploit emerging
opportunities for international partnerships and jointly
address common societal challenges.

Each cluster/project moves the EU-EECA R&I collaboration a step
further exploiting the lessons learned from its predecessor
Objectives
Increase awareness on emerging opportunities for international
collaboration under R&I programmes in EU & the EECA countries
 Organise info-days and training sessions in all EECA countries
 Set-up an on-line Help Desk and offer hands-on support
Support Collaboration among research and industrial actors from both
regions in 4 ICT areas:
 Big Data, Software and Services
 Interactive Content, Media and Creative industries
 High Performance Systems
 Photonics
Facilitate Policy Dialogue to overcome barriers and jointly address
common societal challenges
 Mapping EECA ICT R&I priorities in H2020
 Organise policy/consultation meetings
Opportunities for EU-EECA collaboration
 Face-2-face meetings @ ICT Proposers’ Day 2014
