Een echte zomerse filmbeleving is de Pleinbioscoop Rotterdam, die plaatsvindt van woensdag 13 tot en
met zondag 31 augustus. In het Museumpark wordt elke avond een film vertoond op groot scherm. Vooraf
is er muziek en kunnen bezoekers een hapje eten bij de verschillende eetkramen. Neem je eigen stoel mee
(of huur er één) en geniet van Hollywoodhits en arthousefilms.

Sunday 31 August. Every night a movie is shown in Museumpark on a big screen. Beforehand there is

Robin Rotterdam Unlimited, dat plaatsvindt
van vrijdag 18 tot en met zondag 20 juli, viert dit
jaar het dertigjarig bestaan van Zomercarnaval.
Dans mee en bekijk de prachtige praalwagens en
kostuums. Er is tijdens dit driedaags muziekfestival
veel meer te doen. Zo treedt Sergio Mendes op in
de Doelen, brengt Kool & the Gang bezoekers aan
het dansen op het Hofplein en trekken brassbands
door de straten tijdens Battle of Drums.

Robin Rotterdam Unlimited takes place from
Friday 18 until Sunday 20 July and celebrates
the thirtieth anniversary of the Zomercarnaval
this year. Dance along and see the beautiful
floats and costumes. But that is not all. During
this three-day music festival Sergio Mendes
performs in de Doelen, Kool & the Gang makes
you want to dance on Hofplein and brass bands
pass through the streets during Battle of Drums.

of Rotterdam North Sea Jazz Festival Ahoy
Rotterdam op zijn kop. Drie dagen lang brengt het
festival een indrukwekkende line-up van artiesten.
Dit jaar betreden niemand minder dan Pharrell
Williams, Outkast, Joss Stone en Robin Thicke
het podium. In aanloop naar het jazzfestival, tot
en met zondag 13 juli, vinden er in de binnenstad
concerten plaats onder de noemer North Sea
Round Town. In restaurants, huiskamers en podia
treden bekende en onbekende jazzartiesten op.

Rotterdam North Sea Jazz Festival turns Ahoy
Rotterdam upside down. During three days the
festival brings together an impressive line-up
of artists. This year, none other than Pharrell
Williams, Outkast, Joss Stone and Robin Thicke
will be on stage. In preparation for the jazz
festival, until Sunday 13 July, there are many
concerts throughout the city under the name
North Sea Round Town. Known and unknown
jazz artists perform in restaurants, halls and
venues.
