Estimated Time
• Estimated administration time –Must move to extended time

504, or ELL plan. Move to media center after initial testing time has

Constructed Response Process
• MC/CR and English III answer sheets must be
precoded by State and Federal Testing Team
• For new students, write the student’s name,
Powerschool ID number, and course in the
upper left corner of the answer sheet in PENCIL
– QR code will be added once answer sheets are
returned to the Scoring Center
– Keep all student bubbled answer sheets separate for

they are received from the vendor

Testing Personnel
Test Administrator’s Responsibilities
• Must have professional training in education
• Must receive a face to face training, including accommodations
– Read Assessment Guide prior to training
– Complete an assessment of your Green Roster and Accommodations
• Account for test materials
– Once they are checked out from STC until they are returned
• Conduct unbiased test administration
– Follow the script and directions exactly as written in the AG
• Monitor the testing session
• Report any irregularities immediately
• Escort any extended time students to the Media Center after
the testing limits have been met.

Accommodations
• Test Administrator must receive training on accommodations
prior to testing
• Every EOC and NCFE class will receive a Green roster which
will Identify students with accommodations
• Every student with an accommodation will receive a yellow
accommodations form for each class the are enrolled in.
• Complete the form for each test.
• If the student refuses accommodation write refused
accommodation on the form.
• Return ALL yellow forms signed at the end of testing.

Early Finishers
• STC must develop a plan to move students after the estimated
testing time has ended
• Students who complete the test before the estimated time has
expired must be allowed to read novels or other non textbooks
– Verify that students have finished and checked their answers
– TA must read the last scripted say statement ending the testing session
(“Read to announce the end of testing session”)
– Collect student answer sheet, test book, and all other materials
– Give the student the reading material
• The reading material must be checked to ensure that it does not contain
information regarding tested content (EOC p.21 for approved material)
• If all students finish the test, review their responses, and are
ready to turn in their tests before the scheduled time is over, the
TA may end the testing session

Proctor’s Responsibilities
• Assigned regardless of the number of students testing
– Must be 18 years or older and not a student enrolled in the K-12 public
school system
– Cannot be assigned to a room where relative or ward is to be tested
– Must be registered in the CMS volunteer system www.cmsvolunteers.com
• Proctors must be trained prior to testing
– Testing Code of Ethics (sign Affidavit), Proctor’s Guide, NOT THE AG
• Cannot assist students nor be left alone with testing materials at
any time
– Cannot pick up/return test materials to STC
– Cannot handle any test materials (collect or pass out)
• Cannot read test directions
• Alert Test Administrator if students have not written their
constructed response answers on their answer sheet

Misalignment during Testing
