Two years ago the funding was cut and most schools could not afford to keep those positions. The impact of those positions was huge. However, there are now strong voices that continue to advocate for the funding to be returned and they are armed with evidence of great success. This support is based solely on the needs of the local districts. Wisconsin has 12 CESA regions statewide. CESA #3, in Southwest Wisconsin, serves 31 School Districts.
