Scientists who have publicly disagreed with anthropogenic
global warming alarmism and the IPCC:
1. Judith Curry, Chair: School of Earth and Atmospheric
Sciences at the GA Inst. of Technology, co-editor of
Encyclopedia of Atmospheric Sciences (6 vols., 2002).
IPCC insiders have acted like “schoolyard bullies” “will tolerate
no dissent” and “seek to trample and discredit anyone who
challenges the IPCC”
“At some point, I decided that I could no longer in good faith
support the IPCC and its assessments.”
2. Ivar Giaever, physics, Rensselaer (Nobel winner);
American Physical Society Fellow (1/2 of 1% of members)
“temperature has changed from ~288.0 K to ~288.8 K in 150
years, which (if true) means to me … that the temperature has
been amazingly stable, and both human health and happiness
have definitely improved in this ‘warming’ period”
3. Harold Lewis, physics, UC Santa Barbara
Also APS Fellow: Said that global warming is “the
greatest and most successful pseudoscientific fraud
I have seen in my long life as a physicist”
4. Robert B. Laughlin, physics, Stanford (Nobel
winner)
5. Norman Borlaug, plant geneticist, Texas A & M,
Nobel winner
6. William Happer, physics, Princeton
7. Antonio Zichichi, president of World Federation of
Scientists
8. Roy W. Spencer, meteorologist, U. Alabama-Huntsville, formerly
Senior Scientist for Climate Studies at NASA
U.S. Science Team leader for the Advanced Microwave
Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA’s Aqua satellite.
Author of The Great Global Warming Blunder (2010).
9. Ian Plimer, professor in School of Earth and Environmental
Sciences, Univ. of Adelaide, Australia, 2X winner of Eureka Prize,
Australia’s highest scientific honor
10. Richard Lindzen, Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Atmospheric
Sciences, MIT: long-time critic of AGW, with a lifetime of seminal
contributions to atmospheric science
11. Fred Singer, professor emeritus of environmental sciences at the
University of Virginia
12. www.petitionproject.org is list of
31,487 American signers with university degrees in
science (including 9,029 Ph.D.s).
“There is no convincing scientific evidence that human
release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse
gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause
catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and
disruption of the Earth’s climate. Moreover, there is
substantial scientific evidence that increases in
atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial
effects upon the natural plant and animal environments
of the Earth.”
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable,
gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits,
impartial and sincere. (James 3:17)

“Windmills conjure up romantic images of sails
slowly turning amongst fields”
Václav Klaus, president of the Czech Republic (“Freedom, Not
Climate, At Risk,” Financial Times.com. (June 13, 2007). in 2007)
“global warming hysteria has become a prime example of the truth
versus propaganda problem.”
As someone who lived under communism for most of his life, I feel
obliged to say that I see the biggest threat to freedom,
democracy, the market economy and prosperity now in ambitious
environmentalism, not in communism. This ideology wants to
replace the free and spontaneous evolution of mankind by a sort
of central (now global) planning.
The environmentalists ask for immediate political action because
they do not believe in the long-term positive impact of economic
growth and ignore both the technological progress that future
generations will undoubtedly enjoy, and the proven fact that the
higher the wealth of society, the higher is the quality of the
environment. They are Malthusian pessimists

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain;
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood,
From sea to shining sea.
O beautiful for pilgrim feet
Whose stern impassion'd stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness America!
America! God mend thine ev'ry flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law.
O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife,
Who more than self their country loved,
And mercy more than life!
America! America!
May God thy gold refine,
Till all success be nobleness,
And every gain divine.
O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam,
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God mend thine every flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self control,
Thy liberty in law.
Crown him with many crowns, the Lamb upon his throne,
Hark! how the heavenly anthem drowns
all music but its own.
Awake, my soul, and sing of him who died for thee,
and hail him as thy matchless King
through all eternity.
Crown him the Lord of life, who triumphed o'er the grave,
and rose victorious in the strife
for those he came to save.
His glories now we sing, who died, and rose on high,
who died, eternal life to bring,
and lives that death may die.
Crown him the Lord of peace, whose power a scepter
sways
from pole to pole, that wars may cease,
and all be prayer and praise.
His reign shall know no end, and round his pierced feet
fair flowers of paradise extend their fragrance ever
sweet.
Crown him the Lord of love; behold his hands and side,
those wounds, yet visible above,
in beauty glorified.
All hail, Redeemer, hail! For thou hast died for me;
thy praise and glory shall not fail throughout eternity.
