Ciccolella collaborated two years with Hortilux Schreder to improve the quality and
quantity of the agricultural products, in a protected environment, through additional
lighting and carbon dioxide fertilization.
Using HPS (High Pressure Sodium) lamps tested in two schemes of brightness, in
the first test at 12 Klux and in a second test to 6 Klux, it has been possible to test
the performance and quality improvements obtainable in the agricultural
production, in a pilot greenhouse with a CO2 enriched atmosphere.
