What can a FIP worker do to support the
Troubled Families agenda?
Co-ordinate a case from referral to closure
Provide one point of contact for families and agencies
Work with each individual member of the family
Set up a contract of support
Challenges families & agencies that don’t do what they say
they will

Visits families every week – usually about 3 times
Identify needs, plan, review and prioritise work accordingly
Be open and honest about what needs to change
Coordinate weekly appointments
Provides out of hours support
