• Present method of targeting is mainly based on income
• New method of targeting based on a set variables other than
income is being developed
• New method of targeting will enable the Ministry of social security
to properly identify the beneficiaries of cash transfer.
• Other able bodied beneficiaries will be shifted to the newly
created Ministry of Social Integration to be placed on the
empowerment programs.
• Single database will be managed by the Ministry of Social Security
but will be shared with other Ministries and government
institutions.
• Profile of applicants will enable other Ministries to place them on
their respective welfare programs.
