LAB4MEMS ENIAC JU Project 2013 - 2016
UoM is mainly involved in 2 work-packages:
WP2:
• Design of test structures for the characterisation of Anisotropic
Magnetoresistive (AMR) films for MEMS 3-D compass devices.
• Design of piezo-actuated MEMS capacitor for RF coupling application.
• Design of a piezo-actuated resonator for RF application.
WP4:
Modelling of the curing effects of epoxy compound on silicon substrates:
this work is related to the modelling of 3-D packaging on the silicon devices
and includes modelling of the visco-elastic properties, glass transition
temperature and TCE mismatch and shrinkage.
