• Eglin utilized a Utility Energy Services Contract to implement the Energy
Management System project with Gulf Power (electrical utility provider)
• Chevron Energy Solutions was chosen as the Energy Service Company to
implement the project.
• Chevron developed the proposed upgrade to the existing Direct Digital
Controls (DDC) in conjunction with integrating smart metering with the
DDC onto a stand alone secure network for proactive management of
facility energy consumption – a robust Energy Management System.
• This energy conservation measure has the potential
to reduce the Base’s energy use by approximately 99,000 MMBTU per year
to help achieve base energy efficiency goals
